*And seeing the multitudes, he had compassion on them: because they were distressed, and lying like sheep that have no shepherd. Then he saith to his disciples, The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest. Glory be to God forever.

*فَلَمَّا رَأَى الْجُمُوعَ تَحَنَّنَ عَلَيْهِمْ، لأنهم كَانُوا ضالين وَمطروحين كَخرافٍ لاَ رَاعِيَ لَهَا. حِينَئِذٍ قَالَ لِتَلاَمِيذِهِ: «إِنَّ الْحَصَادُ كَثِيرٌ وَأمَّا الْفَعَلَةَ فَقَلِيلُونَ. فَاطْلُبُوا إِذَاً مِنْ رَبِّ الْحَصَادِ أَنْ يُرْسِلَ فَعَلَةً لِحَصَادِهِ». وَالْمَجْدُ لِلَّهِ دَائِماً.

*يا الله إلهي إليك أبكر، لأن نفسي عطشت إليك، هكذا ظهرت لك فى القدس، لأرى قوتك ومجدك. هلليلويا هَلِّلُويَا.

*And when they were gone out, behold they brought him a dumb man, possessed with a devil. And after the devil was cast out, the dumb man spoke, and the multitudes wondered, saying, Never was the like seen in Israel. But the Pharisees said, By the prince of devils he casteth out devils. And Jesus went about all the cities, and towns, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease, and every infirmity. Glory be to God forever.

*وَفِيمَا هُوَ خَارِج من هناك، قَدَّمُوا إِلَيْهِ أَخْرَس به شيطان. فَلَمَّا أُخْرِجَ الشَّيْطَانُ تَكَلَّمَ الأَخْرَسُ، فَتَعَجَّبَ الْجُمُوعُ قَائِلِينَ: «لَمْ يَظْهَرْ قَطُّ مِثْلُ هذَا فِي إِسْرَائِيلَ!» أَمَّا الْفَرِّيسِيُّونَ فَكانوا يقولون: «إِنَّهُ بِرَئِيسِ الشَّيَاطِينِ يُخْرِجُ الشَّيَاطِينَ!». وَكَانَ يَسُوعُ يَطُوفُ الْمُدُنَ كُلَّهَا وَالْقُرَى يُعَلِّمُ فِي مَجَامِعِهم، وَيَكْرِزُ بِبِشَارَةِ الْمَلَكُوتِ، وَيَبرئ كُلَّ مَرَضٍ وَكُلَّ ضُعْفٍ. وَالْمَجْدُ لِلَّهِ دَائِماً.

*For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual grace, to strengthen you: That is to say, that I may be comforted together in you, by that which is common to us both, your faith and mine. And I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that I have often purposed to come unto you, (and have been hindered hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. The grace of God the Father be with you all. Amen.

*لأَنِّي مُشْتَاقٌ أَنْ أَرَاكُمْ، لِكَيْ أَمْنَحَكُمْ هِبَةً رُوحِيَّةً لِثَبَاتِكُمْ، أَيْ لِنَتَعَزَّى بَيْنَكُمْ بِالإِيمَانِ الَّذِي فِينَا جَمِيعًا، إِيمَانِكُمْ وَإِيمَانِي. ثُمَّ لَسْتُ أُرِيدُ أَنْ تَجْهَلُوا أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ أَنَّنِي مِرَارًا كَثِيرَةً قَصَدْتُ أَنْ آتِيَ إِلَيْكُمْ، وَمُنِعْتُ حَتَّى الآنَ، لِيَكُونَ لِي ثَمَرٌ فِيكُمْ أَيْضًا كَمَا فِي سَائِرِ الأُمَمِ. نعمةُ اللَّهِ الآبِ فَلْتَحِلَّ عَلَى أرواحِنا يا آبائي وإخْوَتي. آمين.

The Catholic Epistle from 1 John

الكاثوليكون من يوحنا الأولى

2:1-6

٢ : ١ − ٦

*My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. But if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the just: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. And by this we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments. He who saith that he knoweth him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But he that keepeth his word, in him in very deed the charity of God is perfected; and by this we know that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him, ought himself also to walk, even as he walked. Do not love the world or the things in the world. The world passes away, and its desires; but he who does the will of God abides forever. Amen.

*يَا أَوْلاَدِي، أَكْتُبُ إِلَيْكُمْ هذَا لِكَيْ لاَ تُخْطِئُوا. وَإِنْ أَخْطَأَ أَحَدٌ فَلَنَا شَفِيعٌ عِنْدَ الآبِ، يَسُوعُ الْمَسِيحُ الْبَارُّ. وَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لِخَطَايَانَا. لَيْسَ لِخَطَايَانَا فَقَطْ، بَلْ لِخَطَايَا كُلِّ الْعَالَمِ أَيْضًا. وَبِهذَا نَعْرِفُ أَنَّنَا قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ: إِنْ حَفِظْنَا وَصَايَاهُ. مَنْ قَالَ: «قَدْ عَرَفْتُهُ» وَهُوَ لاَ يَحْفَظُ وَصَايَاهُ، فَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ وَلَيْسَ الْحَقُّ فِيهِ. وَأَمَّا مَنْ حَفِظَ كَلِمَتَهُ، فَحَقًّا فِي هذَا قَدْ تَكَمَّلَتْ مَحَبَّةُ اللهِ. بِهذَا نَعْرِفُ أَنَّنَا فِيهِ: مَنْ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ ثَابِتٌ فِيهِ يَنْبَغِي أَنَّهُ كَمَا سَلَكَ ذَاكَ هكَذَا يَسْلُكُ هُوَ أَيْضًا. لا تُحِبُّوا العَالَمَ ولا الأشْيَاءَ التي في العَالَمِ، لأنَّ العَالَمَ يمْضِي وَشَهْوَتُهُ مَعَهُ، وأمَّا مَنْ يَعملُ مَشِيئَةَ اللهِ فإنه يَثْبُتُ إلى الأبدِ. آمين.

*Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said to them: Ye princes of the people, and ancients, hear: If we this day are examined concerning the good deed done to the infirm man, by what means he hath been made whole: Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God hath raised from the dead, even by him this man standeth here before you whole. This is the stone which was rejected by you the builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved. The word of the Lord shall grow, multiply, be mighty, and be confirmed, in the holy Church of God. Amen.

*حِينَئِذٍ امْتَلأَ بُطْرُسُ مِنَ الرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ:«يَا رُؤَسَاءَ الشَّعْبِ وَشُيُوخَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، إِنْ كُنَّا نُفْحَصُ الْيَوْمَ عَنْ إِحْسَانٍ إِلَى إِنْسَانٍ سَقِيمٍ، بِمَاذَا شُفِيَ هذَا، فَلْيَكُنْ مَعْلُومًا عِنْدَ جَمِيعِكُمْ وَجَمِيعِ شَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، أَنَّهُ بِاسْمِ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ النَّاصِرِيِّ، الَّذِي صَلَبْتُمُوهُ أَنْتُمُ، الَّذِي أَقَامَهُ اللهُ مِنَ الأَمْوَاتِ، بِذَاكَ وَقَفَ هذَا أَمَامَكُمْ صَحِيحًا. هذَا هُوَ: الْحَجَرُ الَّذِي احْتَقَرْتُمُوهُ أَيُّهَا الْبَنَّاؤُونَ، الَّذِي صَارَ رَأْسَ الزَّاوِيَةِ. وَلَيْسَ بِأَحَدٍ غَيْرِهِ الْخَلاَصُ. لأَنْ لَيْسَ اسْمٌ آخَرُ تَحْتَ السَّمَاءِ، قَدْ أُعْطِيَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، بِهِ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ نَخْلُصَ». لَمْ تَزَلْ كَلِمَةُ الرَّبِّ تَنْمُو وتَكْثُرُ وتَعْتَزُّ وتَثْبُتُ، في بِيعَةِ اللَّهِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ. آمين.

5:31-37

٥ : ٣١ − ٣٧

*If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. You sent to John, and he gave testimony to the truth. But I receive not testimony from man: but I say these things, that you may be saved. He was a burning and a shining light: and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to perfect; the works themselves, which I do, give testimony of me, that the Father hath sent me. And the Father himself who hath sent me, hath given testimony of me: neither have you heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. Glory be to God forever.

*«إِنْ كُنْتُ أَشْهَدُ لِنَفْسِي فَشَهَادَتِي لَيْسَتْ حَقًّا. الَّذِي يَشْهَدُ لِي هُوَ آخَرُ، وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ شَهَادَتَهُ الَّتِي يَشْهَدُهَا لِي هِيَ حَق÷. أَنْتُمْ أَرْسَلْتُمْ إِلَى يُوحَنَّا فَشَهِدَ لِلْحَقِّ. وَأَنَا لاَ أَقْبَلُ شَهَادَةً مِنْ إِنْسَانٍ، وَلكِنِّي أَقُولُ هذَا لِتَخْلُصُوا أَنْتُمْ. كَانَ هُوَ السِّرَاجَ الْمُوقَدَ الْمُنِيرَ، وَأَنْتُمْ أَرَدْتُمْ أَنْ تَبْتَهِجُوا بِنُورِهِ سَاعَةً. وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَلِي شَهَادَةٌ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ يُوحَنَّا، لأَنَّ الأَعْمَالَ الَّتِي أَعْطَانِي الآبُ لأُكَمِّلَهَا، هذِهِ الأَعْمَالُ بِعَيْنِهَا الَّتِي أَنَا أَعْمَلُهَا هِيَ تَشْهَدُ لِي أَنَّ الآبَ قَدْ أَرْسَلَنِي. وَالآبُ نَفْسُهُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي يَشْهَدُ لِي. لَمْ تَسْمَعُوا صَوْتَهُ قَطُّ، وَلاَ أَبْصَرْتُمْ هَيْئَتَهُ، وَالْمَجْدُ لِلَّهِ دَائِماً.
